Iced Peppermint Tea

One of the most refreshing drinks of all time is iced peppermint tea. Keep this favorite in your fridge all summer long! Its delicious taste and amazing cooling effects are ideal to bring relief on those long, hot summer days.

There are a couple of ways of brewing peppermint tea. The conventional method is just to heat water to a boil, steeping the tea bags for 20-30 minutes and placing the tea in the fridge to cool. But it’s more fun to place a glass jar filled with water and tea in the sun. Leave it there for a few hours and when you return, you’ll find your deliciously brewed tea waiting. Infused with light, it’s almost as if the sun was making tea especially for you. No matter which method you use, remember there’s always the option to use fresh peppermint or spearmint leaves instead of teabags and, for a sweeter brew, you can add a bit of honey or agave. However you like it, peppermint tea brews up a cool, delicious summer!
