What's in a Name

Verbalize Your Projection

No matter where you come from or where you intend to go, you are known to those around you by a word. But names are not just words, they are special, even magical, because they are an embodiment of something that is incredibly difficult to sum up—you.

This is why almost all names have a spiritual meaning. For example, the common name “John” means “gift from God.” Any baby-naming book will confirm this. Today it is easy to lose sight of the profundity within your name, but if it is to be an emblem for you, don’t you want it to say something great? This is why so many people take on other, “spiritual” names. By adopting one, you reclaim and affirm your highest nature. What is more, the change is a commitment, a projection that propels you to live your fullest, most fulfilling life. Whether or not you make a change of name, a change in consciousness as to the magnitude of your name makes all the difference, because, hearing others use it, you are surrounded by your own uplifting mantra.
