Take it to the Top
Use Your Head to De-Stress

The scalp contains thousands of nerve endings. These nerves are in close proximity to the sense organs, pituitary and pineal glands and, of course, the brain itself. When you effectively stimulate the nerve endings you will find yourself becoming both calm and energized. Next time you’re feeling stressed, whether at work or at home, simply follow these steps:
- Politely excuse yourself.
- Comb your hair thoroughly, breathing deeply as you do. (Even if you have a buzz cut, comb your hair! Remember, you are stimulating the nerves all over the head.)
- Reset yourself: look at yourself in the mirror and say something positive.
- Return to your activity triumphant.
