Walk Your Talk Flip Flops - A Dedicated Email

In the history of footwear, the humble flip flop has been around almost
as long as humankind has walked the earth. There's even an Egyptian
hieroglyph for it—a long oval with an inverted V in just the right
place. Legend has it that courtesans in ancient Rome arranged nails on
the soles of their flip flops to spell "follow me" in the dust of the
street. In the 1990's, the comfortable, casual and universal sandal
landed with a solid "flip flop" in the halls of popular and haute
couture where it has remained a versatile fashion item ever since.
Musewear founder Diane Curry
saw something even bigger than fashion in the ubiquitous flip flop. Her
desire to say “thank you” with her first steps each morning inspired
her to decorate ethically-produced flip flops with striking artwork and
uplifting words of wisdom from such luminaries as Gandhi, Oscar Wilde, Ella Fitzgerald and the Dalai Lama. Musewear gives back by supporting a host of humanitarian causes
that will warm your heart as well as your soles. Wear Musewear’s fun
and sassy footgear with pride and gratitude as you walk kindly in the
world. With Musewear, you really can put your best foot forward!
