Set the Mood
Music soothes the “savage beast” in us even during the most trying times. Listening to soothing or upbeat tunes reduces stress and increases productivity. After a long day of work, putting on your favorite CD or going for a brisk walk with your portable music can really lift your spirits. Music works on healing the chakras, especially if it is music that uplifts the soul through mantra and sacred vibration.
Make music your companion in life (like your own personal “soundtrack”). Technology is at your fingertips to create a “playlist” that fits every aspect of your daily needs for movement, meditation and inspiration. Ask your friends what they are listening to and other members of your family (even the kids)—you might be surprised to hear something that really touches your heart and renews your spirit. Don’t forget to sing along and awaken your pranic body as well…that’s the power of music!
