Rub a Dub
Yogurt in the Tub

Yogurt, made from cultured milk, has long been considered a wonder food and a staple of many world cultures (no pun intended). Yogurt’s “friendly” bacteria are great for your insides; it also plays a lesser-known role as a natural beauty care product for your hair and skin. Yogurt has drawing properties that pull poisons from your pores to leave your skin smooth, healthy and radiant. Want naturally shiny hair and smooth skin? Try a yogurt bath!
Once a week, massage your skin and hair with yogurt (homemade is best, but plain store-bought will do). If you like, add a few drops of aromatherapy oil (such as lavender or sandalwood oil) to the yogurt. Use warm yogurt and sit in an empty bathtub. Massage the yogurt into your skin and hair—if you can take up to an hour to really massage your body you will open up your capillaries, clean your pores and remove toxins from your skin. Afterwards, take a warm (not hot) shower and enjoy your radiant new skin and hair!
