Cleanse with Chlorophyll
Remember studying photosynthesis in biology class? Plants use chlorophyll, the green pigment in plants and algae, to obtain energy from light. Nature, in her brilliance, has made chlorophyll very user-friendly by supplying easily-assimilated oxygen and phytonutrients to help cleanse, heal and energize the body. In fact, the molecular structure of chlorophyll is nearly identical to the hemoglobin in your blood, so it helps rebuild your red blood cells, fights infections and can boost your energy.
Even though humans don’t graze like horses, cows or goats, you can get ample chlorophyll by eating fresh leafy greens, like Swiss chard, collards, kale, beet greens and spinach. Enjoy them in a salad, steamed, stir fried or blended into your morning smoothie. To get a more concentrated or portable form of chlorophyll, enjoy some wheat grass juice, liquid chlorophyll, powdered blue green algae or a variety of nutritional supplements. Here comes the sun!
