Make it a Habit
40 Days to Change

Good or bad, you are your habits. If you’re in the groove of exercising every day, you’ll increase your chances of a healthy heart and glowing skin. Listen to uplifting music and read life-affirming, thought-provoking literature and your mind will be clear and calm. Even changing your thoughts can change your habits.
Yogis and spiritual teachers understood that you can establish a new habit if you practice for 40 days. Want to quit eating sugar? Be more loving? Watch less TV and do more yoga? Get a journal and write down what you want to achieve and your daily goals. Each day for 40 consecutive days track your progress. Find a support group or a friend you can call on to inspire you to keep going. At the end of the 40 days, assess how far you’ve come. Congratulate yourself and keep on going until the habit is ingrained and you’re in a new and improved groove.
