Enjoy the Fruits

And the Antioxidant Vegetables!

One of the more curious facts of life on earth is buried in the crucial role of oxygen. While all animal life depends on it at the molecular level, in the process of metabolism, oxygen is highly volatile. Oxidation within cells is different from, but analogous, to the rusting of metal. Because you can exercise control of your metabolism through diet and exercise, you are in a position to stabilize the situation, insuring you’ll never get “rusty.”

This is why antioxidants are so often touted in the foods you buy. They help interrupt the oxidization process and foster healthy interactions in your metabolism. So go out and get some berries! Try a pineapple or some dark, leafy greens! Even pinto beans can help shape your metabolic process. Taking responsibility for your diet is fun and tasty, and its effects are amazing. Pretty soon you’ll be more mobile, which makes it easier to exercise. Welcome to the banquet of your well-being!
