Count the Ways
Abundance is Yours

We’ve heard the adage about the rich man having as little chance of getting into heaven as a camel passing through the eye of needle. Our culture both reveres and reviles wealth, so it’s no wonder we are often conflicted about the benefits and the temptations that money can bring. On the other hand, abundance is also a state of mind, not just the state of your bank account. True wealth lies in the breadth of your generosity and your commitment to do good with whatever you’ve been given.
The Universe lavishes abundance on us…the stars in the heavens, fields of grass, the rivers and seas. These resources are not infinite, but the earth is always giving, ever-bountiful. You are also a part of nature’s plan and infinitely abundant—if not in cash, then perhaps in health, love, intellect, friendship or numerous other ways. Count your blessings and give back to others who are less fortunate. Good things are sure to return to you “in abundance.”
