Cool as a Cucumber

Peel off the Summer Heat

When the summer sun pushes the temperature outside your body up to or even beyond the temperature within it, you only do what's natural—reach for something cool to drink. It only seems right to pick up that soda pop or iced coffee to get some relief as you start to droop in the middle of the day. But there's a better solution.

The incredible cucumber is among nature's most cooling foods. It's great on a salad, of course. But a glass of cucumber juice has a wealth of other benefits. While coffee is highly acidic and corrosive to the lining of your stomach, cucumber juice soothes the digestive tract. Cuke juice also helps the body manage water retention; reducing bloating so you look and feel your best. Just peel and juice or blend for instantly crisp, healthy refreshment!
